FAQ
About the Clothing
Are your pieces really handmade?
Yes — every single piece is hand-sewn or hand-knit by me, Kaitlin, in my home in Colorado.
What materials do you use?
I source sustainable, thoughtfully chosen materials for every batch. I thrift all fabric, use vintage trims, and knit with yarn from mulesing-free mills. I prioritize natural fibers as much as possible. Because fabrics and trims are thrifted, specific material content information is often unavailable. Known contents are listed in each product description.
How many of each piece do you make?
I work in small batches, which means each style is made in very limited quantities, often one-of-a-kind. Once a piece sells out, it's gone!
Will you restock sold-out items?
Because each piece is handmade in small batches, I rarely restock exact styles. However, I'm always creating new pieces inspired by similar aesthetics or using the same fabric stash. Follow along @kaitlinelizabethclothing or sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know about new batches.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to receive my order?
Please allow 1–2 weeks for your order to be prepared and shipped. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.
Do you ship internationally?
Please check back soon — I'm working on expanding shipping options. In the meantime, feel free to reach out and I'll do my best to help.
Returns & Care
What is your return policy?
Because each piece is handmade and made in small quantities, all sales are final. If there is a defect or issue with your order, please reach out within 7 days of receiving it and I'll make it right.
How should I care for my Kaitlin Elizabeth piece?
To keep your handmade piece looking its best, I recommend hand washing or machine washing in a delicates bag in cold water and laying flat to dry. Specific care instructions are included with every order.
